What is Prize Eater?
Prize Eater is a free Windows app for running giveaways on Twitch and Kick. Viewers enter from chat, an animated draw picks a winner on stream, and the winner has to send a chat message before the timer runs out to claim the prize.
Is Prize Eater free?
Yes. Prize Eater is free to download and use, with no subscription, no entry cap and no watermark. Prize Eater Pro is an optional one-time upgrade for $4.99 that adds Bot shield and your own logo.
Does Prize Eater work with Kick?
Yes. Log in with Kick and Prize Eater reads your Kick chat. You can be logged in to Twitch and Kick at the same time, and entries from both chats go into one draw.
How does the bot check work?
After the draw, the winner's name hangs from two ropes while the Prize Eater worm closes in. If the winner sends any chat message before the timer ends, their name breaks free, fires a laser and blows the worm up, and the prize is marked claimed. If they stay silent, the worm eats the name and you reroll.
What draw animations does it have?
Four. Prize Eater, the default, has the worm eat names until one is left. Reel rolls names and lands on one. Wheel spins a wheel of entrants. Pull-in flies names in and drops them out until one stays. The worm can use a cartoon look or a scary look.
Is the music safe to play on stream?
Yes. The built-in music is original and composed by Prize Eater itself, so there is nothing to claim a copyright strike on. Each scene has its own track, M turns music on and off, and you can swap in your own royalty-free tracks.
How do I show Prize Eater on stream in OBS?
Press Full window in Prize Eater, then add a Window Capture source in OBS and pick the Prize Eater window. Set the stage background to Green screen and add a Chroma Key filter if you want it over your scene. Animations keep running while the window is behind OBS.
Can I test a giveaway without going live?
Yes. Press Demo and Prize Eater runs a full fake giveaway: fake viewers enter, the draw runs and the bot check plays out. Your real entry list comes back when it ends.
Are Prize Eater draws actually random?
Yes. Winners are picked with a cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) using unbiased sampling. Subscriber ticket multipliers are the only weighting, and they are shown next to each entry.
Do I have to give Prize Eater my password?
No. You log in on Twitch's or Kick's own website in your browser, and Prize Eater receives a token. Tokens are stored on your PC, encrypted with Windows DPAPI, and you can log out at any time.
What does Prize Eater Pro add?
Pro is an optional one-time upgrade for $4.99. It adds Bot shield, which skips new Twitch accounts and blocklisted names, and your own logo on the stage and winner card. A monster pack is coming and is included for Pro owners.
Does Prize Eater run on Mac or Linux?
Not yet. Prize Eater currently ships for Windows 10 and 11.
